The number of millionaires in Ukraine has increased in 2017

According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, in 2017, 742 people have declared income over 1 million hryvnias, informs “Investor”.

The SFS recorded that a number of millionaires in Ukraine became almost twice bigger. The largest number of millionaires live in Kyiv (291 people or 40% of the total number).

In March 2018, Ukrainians filed 75 thousand tax declarations on property and income. A total amount of declared income is 8.1 billion UAH. It is by 2.1 billion UAH or 37% more than during the same period last year.

According to these declarations, Ukrainians must pay from a personal income tax in the amount of 191.4 million UAH and a military fee – 31.0 million UAH. At the same time, almost 20 thousand citizens took advantage of the right to receive a tax discount. It is almost by 28% more than last year (5 thousand people).

Citizens from Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd regions and Kyiv were the ones who declared most of the incomes in Ukraine.
